Patricia, Mitra’s Strategy and Procurement Specialist, has over twenty-five years’ experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. She started her career at Pfizer as a store clerk and worked her way up to Head of Procurements. After leaving Pfizer she joined BATSA where she rose through the ranks to the position of Head of Procurement Southern Africa, responsible for the governance and management of procurement for the whole of Southern Africa.
After five years at BATSA she was seconded to manage the outsourced joint venture procurement team, where she ended up as the Head of Agrega, a Procurement and Supply Chain Management company. During her stint at Agrega she was responsible for procurement in Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe with the main focus being Russia, managing all the elements of procurement in those areas.
She joined Brandhouse when a demerger happened with Agrega, and found a home at Diageo where she headed up the Procurement Department. When Diageo moved to Johannesburg, she resigned from her post after three years of commuting, and started her own Consulting Company. She became a Core Associate at Mitra OD Consulting in 2019.
